The Aloe Vera plant needs abundant of light. They thrive during summer and can withstand the harsh weather of deserts like cactus.

Some Aloe Vera species can bloom and flower and may grow up to two to four feet long. Hummingbirds usually make Aloe Vera their favorite hub because they love its nectar.

Aloe Vera consists mainly of water. In fact, its water content is 95%. That is why it must be kept inside during winter. Aloe Vera is very prone to frost tender.
